With every good story comes a good fight. Perhaps best in the form of
music that was indeed found at the live recording session for the TC
Muzique
program which hosted the musicians that are known as 'Best Fight
Story'.
The story lines unfold with Derek Johnson on target with
guitar and vocals, Chad Johnson bringing home the bass, Tim Hall up
hardy on guitar and Matthew Holm giving the drums a well fought outing
for this cable television studio session. Good natured musicians with
politics, humor and music woven together in a fine fashion that most
any good time music fan could enjoy. The crew included Jim and Marissa
in the control room with Nel Harrison and three active cameras
capturing the band in action. The host Mr Swizzo joked with the
band about their March 17th City Pages article. Their most recent CD is
called 'Free Everybody' - - a good rally phrase for this collection of
songs. The session rolled along with a smooth precise flow with each
song and a grand jam number to close out the show.
TC Muzique can be seen on MTN cable channel 17 and is expanding
to the MCN cable channel 6. Watch for future programs; also rock,
watch and enjoy the Twin Cities music scene.
