With
a quest for music and a taste for metal there may be some mayhem on the
menu. With this Saturday event came a mix of heavy and dark music with
a number of national acts on the main stage and in the Ascot Room a
selection of local Minnesota bands along with a few touring bands.

The crowd size did grow as the event progressed with anticipation for
some of the big hitting bands on the main stage. Some will say metal
can flow up hill
and fill a space with energy. Along with the sounds from the fountain
in the Ascot Room there was a
curiosity factor in the air for the new band line-ups with Aesma Daeva
and
Epicurean. Most particularly with the two new
guitarist with Epicurean and the appearance of Eden Taylor with Aesma
Daeva. At this show Aesma Daeva brought forth their grand performance
with the direction of Earl Root, the voice of Mellisa and the violin
work of Theresa. Additional impact with Tim the former
drummer for the band Slighted and Eden on bass who has played with
A.T.P.H. and Bleeding the Sick. Many fans were pleased to see Tim and
Eden out playing with this band. With Epicurean on stage we found a
solid effort with new members John Major and Steve McCluskey.
Additional stage impact with Angelia on bass, John Laramy at mic
working the stage and Ryan up on keyboards for this show. Musicianship,
performance and a fountain in the Ascot Room.
